Eyam Song and Music Club

1. Eyam Song and Music Club meets in the Eyam Mechanics' Institute
on the first Wednesday each month, 8-10.30pm.

2. It's a round-the-room acoustic performance club rather than a session –
attendees may be encouraged to join in song choruses etc by the performer,
but the prime aim is to allow individual performance.

3. It's a club for singers and for instrument players -
all musical genres are acceptable - all levels of performance skill are acceptable.

4. Audience members welcome.

5. There will be no paid guests.

6. If the room door is closed members are requested to wait outside
until they hear a break in the performance (eg clapping) before coming in.

7. The Eyam Mechanics' Institute is directly opposite the church in Eyam.
We use the Committee Room, which is upstairs (there is a lift) -
it can comfortably hold about 8-10 musicians.

8. There is a bar. We don't have a break so get your drink replenished
in a gap between performances - and see Note 6 above.

9. Attendees must be members of the Mechanics Institute
(£2 at the bar, paid any time, renewed annually in September)
After this there is a charge of £1 per person per visit - again paid over the bar.
